Monitoring and Control
Implementing a fully operational and beneficial DCIM solution is a profession. Therefore we work in partnership with Perf-iT to deliver a full operational DCIM. 20% of the Uptime Institute facility approved datacenters in Europe are using Perf-IT as DCIM. Some examples : Interxion, British Telecom, Equinix, Orange, Mobistar and KPN.
You can build your DCMS as you go: start small and add the right features when you need them. The modules of the DCMS are built on a vast experience in datacenter monitoring. Perf-iT can offer key-ready implementation or organize the necessary training to get the implementation done under your own management.
DCMS Expert allows you to digitize your datacenter right down to the smallest components when Patch Manager™ is brought into the game. You have detailed insights in your cabinets. It knows the power requirements of that device so it can tell you how much power is still available. On the white-space level it can give you information on all infrastructural assets, show you what their maintenance status is and allow you to make very specific work orders for your engineers.
Sunbird PowerIQ® and dcTrack®
Power IQ® (PIQ) software provides the information and controls you need to fully utilize your existing infrastructure resources while alerting you to trouble before it causes downtime. PIQ software can be easily deployed as a standalone DCIM monitoring solution or with Sunbird’s dcTrack® DCIM Operations to provide full asset and change management.
PIQ functionality scales to meet enterprise needs, allowing you to securely monitor all your data centers and labs, including your Busways, CRACs, UPS, PDUs, RPPs, Meters, Branch Circuits, Racks, Rack PDUs, Environment Sensors, IT Devices, and Electronic Door Locks—all from a single web browser. PIQ is vendor neutral and automatically supports all major manufacturers (see back page). You can easily add support for any other manufacturers with our dynamic plugin capability.
